Planning for Las Vegas: 7 days with the Family

We’re off for a week in March to Las Vegas with the whole family. Usually, our travel to Las Vegas has to do with sports and this time it’s no different, but we’re extending our time to spend with family and make the most fun of 7 days in Las Vegas.

We went for a week last Thanksgiving and besides a dinner show and one night out walking the strip, we didn’t plan for much other than attending sports events for my son and lazy days resting in between. This time I’m planning to get out and see the sights Las Vegas has for families.

My Plan for 7- days in Vegas with the Family:

See a Show: We haven’t decided on which show just yet, I’m thinking magic?

Hike Red Rock Canyon: We’ve heard its a beautiful place for hiking. Our plan is to hike and plan for a picnic day.

Take a picture in front of the Las Vegas sign: Why not? it’s free and I think the kids will find this fun.

Pool and BBQ Day: Hoping for warmer weather when we’re there if not the pool is heated and the kids they don’t care. The resort we’re staying at has a BBQ area perfect for a day like this.

The Neon Museum: I’ve heard a lot of great things about this museum. The last time we went to Vegas we didn’t get a chance to fit it in. We’re making this a must-see this trip.

Titanic Exhibit: My kids watch documentaries on the Titanic and we’re all looking forward to exploring this exhibit.

Arcade and Coasters  (New York, New York or Adventuredome): We’ve been to both already, however, it’s always a ton of fun to hit up the arcade and coasters. I’m letting the kids decide on this one.

Escape Room: I’ll be surprising the kids with this one. We haven’t’ done an escape room yet, so I think they’ll be excited to do this.

We have many more visits to Las Vegas planned since we have family there and I’m sure sports will always bring us back to Vegas. My goal is to make it a different experience each time we go so the kids look forward to visiting.

Any tips for future Las Vegas trips?
